Meet
Vinni Fernando
Vinni graduated from the Unviersity of Otago in 1994. She brings a breadth of knowledge spanning over 30 years of experience in locations in the UK and New Zealand.
She has been a frequent attender of endodontic (root canal), restorative, cosmetic and implant courses in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, learning from some of the world’s most respected dentists.
What Vinni loves most about cosmetic dentistry is its impact, the confidence a beautiful, affordable smile gives someone, alongside the creative and technical challenge each case brings. She returns regularly to courses with some of the world’s most respected cosmetic and implant dentists, so her skills keep pace with her enthusiasm for the work.
In the chair, Vinni’s approach is gentle, empathetic, honest and pressure-free. She is committed to providing every patient with a high standard of care, taking the time to explain your options clearly and letting you choose the treatment that feels right for you. Favouring a minimalist approach wherever possible, her focus is on achieving the result you want while preserving your natural teeth.
Outside of the practice, Vinni enjoys good food, friends, and family time with her husband and their three children, and has a love of reading, tennis, skiing, and walking New Zealand’s great walks, with a few marathons and ultramarathons along the way.
